SIDNEY, Neb. - The Cheyenne County Community Center in Sidney launched a new website Friday, Oct. 2, providing residents with an updated way to access information about the organization’s programs and services.
The redesigned ccccsidney.com includes information about memberships, youth and adult sports, Kids Korner childcare, fitness programs, The Training Room, senior meals and activities and events offered by The Center.
“Our community uses The Center in a lot of different ways, and our website needs to reflect that,” Executive Director Hunter Arterburn said. “If you're looking for sports registration, childcare information, membership options, Congregate Meal menus or what’s happening at The Center, we want you to be able to find it quickly and efficiently.”
The website was developed in partnership with Sidney-based Keen Tech. Arterburn thanked Cory Keen and his team for going above-and-beyond with their work on the project.
“Working with a local company that understands our community and region was important to us,” Arterburn said. “Cory and Collins listened to what we needed and worked with us throughout the process to create a phenomenal website that better serves our members and community.”
The new website highlights the organization’s history, its role in Cheyenne County and the people who have helped shape it. The site also looks toward the future as The Center continues evaluating how its facilities, programs and services can meet the community’s changing needs.
“Before we can talk about where The Center is going, we need to do a better job telling people who we are, how we got here and why this organization matters to Cheyenne County,” Arterburn said. “Our story has been built by this community, and there are more chapters still to write.”
The Center also launched new social media. Follow @ccccsidney on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for news, program information, registration updates and photos.
The new website is available at ccccsidney.com. For more information, call the Cheyenne County Community Center at (308) 254-7000, email hunter@ccccsidney.com or visit 627 Toledo St. in Sidney.
